a 26 year old spoiled yet brilliant musician hailing from the 1% part of connecticut, sums up the importance of fathers and mothers in the chorus of a 2005 grammy winning song, and he's a freakin' guy to boot!
now, if john mayer gets it 9 years ago, why aren't real fathers and mothers getting it, too?

i have the good fortune of having an unusually open and direct dialogue with my youngest daughter. she is fully aware of my agenda to expose adult cyber-bullying; however, cyber-bullying is sadly only one in a litany of symptoms of a far larger problem facing our daughters, sons, and society in general.

for several+ years i have casually observered age-challenged facebook walls, the "no, not that wall my other wall" facebook walls, and the internet equivalent of a slam book from 1972,

years ago, facebook was essentially, a girl's online diary. then it became a diary and a virtual photo album.
boys like picutres.
boys had no interest in what girls talked about.
and it wasn't until the picture posting thing grew in popularity and boner potential, that guys decided they wanted to play facebook, too.

facebook has gone from innocuous status updates and photos of girls being naughty at saturday sleepovers with jack daniels to: tit shots, butt shots, and sexual exploits that would make e.l. james turn 50 shades of red.

i taught some of these girls the girl scout pledge and helped them earn craft badges for chrissakes! i watched one or two play t-ball in cute little nickers and baseball caps after kindergarten. 

juliet lowe's idea's of girl empowerment including: camping, starting fires, and how to wrap a tourniquet in case a bear tore your arm off camping, has been replaced with jenna jamison's idea of girl empowerment through her vagina and a really good vibrator.

girls believe they are empowering their female self, because now they can be callous little twats when it comes to sex and thanks to facebook, prove it with regular wall updates and evidence photos.

p.s. i appreciate your consideration while my site experiences it's growing pains. my presentation here, resembles my life. i am all over the place most of the time and it takes me a while to settle myself in.
it is my ultimate goal to end girl-on-girl hate. i would love to use the term girl-on-girl hate; however, being the cynical woman i am, i would get shitloads of perverts looking for girl-on-girl action.

technology promotes removing the human from human interaction and loses all the wonderful, distinctive qualities that celebrate our human-ness.
love, empathy, kindness, respect- each a human character trait, none of which is required by the www.
bear with me as i build this page and this movement to eradicate the girl-on-girl hate that dominates facebook walls.
but more importantly, eliminate the hate in our lives.
